5 Things

i haven't done a, "5 Things" in a looong while!
here are a few more things to get to know me better:

1. i looove buttered pasta-cooked angelhair with butter and that popcorn butter i mentioned was heaven many posts back
2. the elderly tug @ my heartstrings
3. i love the smell of fresh soap (like original dove or leaver 2000)
4. i keep recipes everywhere to someday try
5. i cannot go without lip product-i CANNOT-NOT-STAND when my lips are chapped! P-E-R-I-O-D.

i've gotta act fast for now.

and i want a zebra scarf cause zebra's my signature print, haha!

it's hard to see,

i'd just swap that for...ripped skinny jeans

i don't know what i want a tattoo of anymore,

or where to place it.

of course, i want the tattoo to be meaningful...

but cute and unique too!

i'd also like a peek-a-boo tattoo sometime down the line.

my tatted role models are Angelina J. and Rihanna.

especially Rihanna!

i thought about getting a vertical tattoo along my side like that,

but from end of ribs, toward beginning of my hip.

i think that would be sexy...

but what to put?!

i thought about japanese of some sort that says, "living jewel", "gentle spirit", "sweet soul"

i don't know...

somthing along those lines!

and i've also thought of a pokeball (and MAYBE one or two pokemon)

because i truly think i've been brainwashed by them!

it's a huge part of my childhood.

and definitely more on the unique side, hahaha!

overall, if i like my first tattoo (whether: foot, behinf ear, finger, wrist, side, or hips...maybe one day all of these if i really like my tattoos!)

then i'd be more than happy to add an addition!

i think this one is cute!

but i don't wanna feel like a copy cat.

and ya know...the whole society thing too...

jobs/careers....yeah.

the finger, "shhh..." is genius!

but celebs start copying it!

and i definietly don't wanna be a follower!

i think as long as they trail, and are vertical or horizontal small tats...

i'd be very happy with the outcomes i get.

Not Asking for Much

it's ridiculous how a simple day can make me happy.

don't get me wrong-shopping sprees and elegant restaurants are all fine and dandy.

but simple days can be just right for me-especially if it goes right.

i'd start my day getting up in the morning and turning my boom box on
to some crazy 1940s jazz.

you know, when it's only a sax playing

and symbols being rubbed together.

very...blues like and calm.

i'd wear something saturday-worthy.

like short shorts...which wouldn't really be too short on me.

due to my arm and leg ratio, I can't wear almost any type of short

but bremuda shorts @ school due to the fingertip rule.

bleh.

so that weekend i'd let loose.

try to be comfortable in some shorts

(since i rarely wear them).

with a long-sleeved top to balance out my attire, haha!

get a few to go cups of Dulce de Leche creamer

and head out to the used bookstore.

in the mornings, they have three different types of coffee brewing.

and it smelled sooo good while i was trying to choose a book for english!

quite distracting.

so i'd grab me a cup of joe

once i sat down with a few book nominees
and choose one or two to buy

based on reading the first chapter.

then,

for breakfast i'd head across the street to Original House of Pancakes.

and buy some milk, pancakes with strawberry syrup and whipped cream

(yummy!!!)

and some bacon.

their breakfast makes my day!

just recently, i've started mapping out places to prowl

for nifty thrift-type shops.

in my area.

because the more blogs i read,

the more i hear about amazing finds.

so i'm about to find some treasure for myself
in second-hand shops.

there's one right next to the bookstore i haven't looked in yet.

so i'd shop around in there.

now, just a guesstimate...

breakfast........$15.00
book(s)........$9.00

thrift shopping........$30.00 (?)

total: $54

not a bad day @ ALL!

might even head to my local sushi bar with some peeps, huh?

and someone gave it out for the world to see...

so i took it and rand with it.

used it,

and got, "congratulations! you're in the lookbook community!"

i got SO excited!

typing MY OWN "about me"

and MY OWN title for fututre pictures...

...made my heart flutter

now mind you...

this is where the bittersweet pasrt comes into play...

i am SO excited to even have the opprotunity to post on there.

(and have an easier access to hyping things and favoriting

without it feeling like i'm on the outside looking in)

but i just googled, "lookbook.nu"

and just looking @ those pictures gave me literal chills.

i am not that good.

i am an ameture.

i am aware of this-

and the fact that i have B-I-G shoes to fill.

...this scares me.

i mean, i like getting inspired...

and taking pictures

and editing them (thankyouphotoshopclass!).

it's just that i think they'll stand out like a sore neon thumb.

hey all!

these are the last of my pictures i wish to share...

so these are pictures from the tailgate!

usually the school-ran tailgates SUCK.

like, "hey I'm the priciapal-wanna hot dog?"

then you dance

and sit

and call it a night if you're not going to the game...

*yawn*

but THIS year,

they had

caramel apples,

chips and pretzels,

lemonade shakeups,

hot dogs,

hamburgers,

DJing from our radio station,

competions like hoola hooping and dance marathon,

charity money-rasing,

face painting,

and dressing up in a super hero theme for the game later on that night...

ALL of that AND the game for a measley $5!!!

i was blown-a-way.

it was SO much more fun than past tailgates though.

ESPECIALLY with Tracy T. there! She MADE the tailgate!

along with awesome Lindsay G.

they're both awesome!

loved it,

and the game.

never again will i stand with the juniors section though.

sooo irritating!

it was all fun though!

now about DQ :

i'm working two days next week!

my first job-i'm pretty optimistic,

but i guess that'll pass.

i don't know though,

it IS moolah!

i was told not to be discouraged

if the work becomes monotonous.

cleaning bathrooms, dipping dilly bars, putting ice cream sandwitches together...

but i'm pumped!

Back on Track #1-Praying Mantis

i named him Casio,

due to his constant attacks to my camera he attempted

wheneve i flashed the camera in his face, hahaha!

isn't he tiny and cute?!

watching him hop onto my CASIO camera

(hence his name)

and seeing him follow my grandpa's bright orange shirt with his head!

get this:

he wouldn't get in the grass,

so i set him down into a bush

and the next day he was there!

and even the FOLLOWING night,

eating a fruit fly on the porch.

it was a fufilling moment

...moments, haha!

i just LOVE praying mantises!

Friday Night Lights and Such-To Be Continued...

there's been SO MUCH going on the past two to three days...

i have SO much to share!
i've been just jotting things down until i could find the TIME to talk about it.

...i still kinda can't,

because i have to upload my pictures from the camera

so you can be visually amazed while reading, haha.

so here's a quick recap of things i can remember but need pictures for until next time:

i got a job @ DQ-FINALLY A JOB,

the tiny praying mantis with lots of moxie that has STAYED by the house for three days straight,

our first homegame plus the BESt tailgate party by the school EVER,

this holiday's plans,

ummm...

i KNOW there's more...

i WILL remember.

until then, i'll write about things i DO have pictures for!

so yesterday was pretty flipping amazing.

but it's SUPER late...

should've BEEN in bed!

but i have a buttload of work to do.

i'll guess i'll just have to race through it all the rest of this week...

an econ test today, a HIGHLY detailed paper due thursday,

art project, art club entry project...

once friday comes along.

i'll be hyped for more than just the tailgate and 1st homegame...

What the Heck is a Hookah??

oh yeah,

P.S.- i found out that what the caterpillar smokes in cinderella is called a hookah!

some kids in my honors english class were talking about it.

and i was like, "is this some smoking craze??"

i googled it and found it.

i saw some kids on facebook use it.

apparentley a lot of people use it in my peer group.

well, @ least it's legal i guess...

but i found it intriguing, haha!

learned something new today.

YES! I Like Yogurt!

so instead of talking about my blah monday,

where i did absolutely nothing productive...

i'm going to talk about yogurt instead.

believe it or not,

i'm one of those weirdos that wants to like to eat something

even though her tastebuds disagree with that particular food.

i don't know why, but when a certain food attracts me,

and i wanna eat it?

but i don't like it?

it'll frustrate me, haha!

i always think of yogurt being a healthly little snack...

but i've always HATED it.

i've tried and tried...

i just don't like it...

BUT, since i don't like fruit

(which sucks cause i also think it looks so neat when someone can bring in an orange or a bag of blueberries and just dig in to something so healthy and enjoy it so much!)

i have to @ least like yogurt.

i tried dannons...

...bleh.

then i got yoplait in harvest peach

and took it home and froze it.

it was delicious!

i'd perfer it creamy though, as opposed to ice-y.

it was good though.

and i looked on the site, and the cancer caps

(where you mail in the tops to donate cash for breast cancer?)

is coming up verry soon-sometime this fall.

i killed two birds with one stone!
ha!

i'm a champion!

now, i must go.

i need to get SOME work done!

as well as eating my kosher dog with chips and dip.

now, the dip i use is philly cream cheese called, "onions and chives"

it's SOOO good with ruffles!
