i have many stories that i've been inspired to tell since my trip to Chicago and back. the two days were probably one of the best feelings i've had in a while... great times! haha.
so i decided to put each story that popped up in my head as seperate stories so it wouldn't be too drawn-out ALLLL in one post, haha!
while my dad, brother, and i stalled waiting for the burger joint to open, we walked around in a Wal-Mart nearby. we were looking through electronics and the books were right next to that section, so i decided to see all the magazines they carried. (i was hoping to find a NYLON in there but didn't, hahaha!). i did find teen vogue and liked what i saw in the nintendo magazine, but it made me think about how my taste in magazines changed.
@ first, i'm sure many girls started w/magazines like, "GL" or "J-14" (...i think that's the name for them...). ya know, those magazines with a million celebs on the front cover that makes it look like a busy college?? always filled with, "is he into you?" quizzes and around 15 smackers ads...
then you move on to bigger better things- "seventeen", "teen people", and "cosmo girl" (those are what i've read anyway). @ this point you're like, "NOW we're talkin'!" so much advice and fashion in the colums that you can't help but to love!
and now, while i was down there, i purchased my first teen vogue. and i've also graduated to NYLON, as mentioned a million times in my blog!
i don't know...when you look back, it's just like a diary of how much you've matured and grown.
