i love mac and cheese as much as the next person...
but the best non-homemade mac and cheese i've had
were frozen packets from Market Day.
you'd just cut slits in the pack,
place it in a bowl,
and microwave it.
and there ya go!
but i can't get those anymore.
now, i just use the boxed kind,
but since that's not always the cheeseiest
i did two little tricks to make it taste better:
- add Lactaid 2% milk (lactose inntolerant milk basically) instead of regular 2% milk
- use a little less than 3 tablespoons of butter (so it won't be so water-y)
it makes mine taste better!
and comes out looking like this!
